This locality was named for the crystals which were found in the area in the 1850’s, but today the scenic farm and rainforest areas adjoining the Mount Warning foothills are home to several stylish bed and breakfasts, with proximity to both the Brisbane and Byron Bay a drawcard. Apart from nearby Mt Warning, the area has a unique miniature horse stud, which includes a café and a tourist train ride.
