The 162 hectare selection taken up in 1904 became Midginbil Hill, with an historic homestead built in 1911 still used, now part of a country resort with a wide range of tourist activities. Further up the road is the tiny village of Kunghur. The nearby Clarrie Hall Dam is a popular spot for catch and release fishing and canoeing, with picnic and barbecue facilities and a nearby general store.
